With such a large space, achieving a sense of depth and proportion without overwhelming the room can be tricky. Our handcrafted in-frame furniture in a soft and graceful grey provides plenty of practical worksurfaces and storage while promoting a bright yet robust ambience. A sleek run of tall units offers an excellent way to utilise the ample space, creating a useful bank of additional storage. It allowed us to leave the walls around the window free of cabinetry, establishing an open and airy feel.
Our client’s gorgeous black AGA range makes a magnificent focal point. We designed a beautiful bespoke mantle to emphasise the AGA’s dramatic presence. The antique mirror splashback also accentuates this dramatic feature while reflecting the natural light radiating from the window opposite. Armac Martin’s Cotswold knob and cup handles in brushed brass make a stunning finishing touch. They bring a lovely, classic warmth to the cool grey furniture. This elegant, beautifully balanced bespoke kitchen provides a gorgeous backdrop to our client’s open-plan living space.
Behind The Design
We created a fabulous bespoke drinks cabinet with exquisite solid walnut inserts. Our ingenious pocket door design allows our clients to show off the contents of the cabinet to their guests. It makes an enviable addition to entertaining. We love how the vibrant Midnight Teal island adds a playful splash of character to the room without dominating the design.
The Details
Handcrafted in-frame kitchen painted in Dulux Heritage Romney Wool and Midnight Teal with Armac Martin Cotswold handles. Caesarstone Eggshell worktops and Perrin & Rowe Taps. Appliances include a Caple wine cooler and the client’s own AGA.
